Teddy Bridgewater entered Week 4's home game against the Baltimore Ravens oozing with confidence that his Denver Broncos can pass the test against Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. But not only did the Broncos lose in that game, 23-7, they also might have lost Bridgewater at least for a game after the quarterback sustained a concussion in the first half of the contest.

Bridgewater's availability for Week 5's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road remains up in the air, but it's difficult to count on him making a start in the next game, considering that he had just landed on the concussion protocol, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

As mentioned by Rapoport, recovery time from a concussion varies from player to player, so it's really possible that the Broncos will be without Bridgewater at Heinz Field next Sunday.

Bridgewater passed for only 65 yards but had a touchdown on 7-of-16 completions against the Ravens. He did not play in the entire second half and was instead replaced by Drew Lock, the man Bridgwater beat in the offseason for the starting gig. Bridgwater's injury also brings to light the Broncos' need to strengthen their pass protection. Bridgwater was sacked twice for a loss of 15 yards, while Lock was sacked three more times that cost his team 15 yards as well.
