Denver Broncos superstar pass rusher Von Miller suffered a dislocated tendon that required surgery earlier this month. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, that injury could effectively end Miller's season.

So it sounds like Miller will be having that surgery soon. And it is going to keep him out of action for “several months.” Obviously, at that point the entire season is in jeopardy.
This is a massive blow for the Broncos. Miller is one of the best pass-rushers in the game and a consistently dominant force.
However, Miller seems determined. He also took to Twitter to react to the surgery. And he is taking a different approach than the “somber and sorry” party that a lot of people are trying to throw for him.

It's pretty clear what Miller is getting at here. He is saying he is not going to let this setback defeat him. And he did so by throwing out Kobe Bryant's name with a picture of Bryant after he tore his Achilles.
That was the same Achilles tear that Bryant got up from to hit two foul shots before he left the game.
Obviously, Miller isn't saying he is going to go out and play in Week 1 and get two sacks before he gets his surgery. But what he is saying is that this is not going to be the end of his story.
Miller is a superstar, one of the best in the world. In fact, he has already established himself as one of the best pass rushers to ever do it.
Through nine seasons, Miller has 106 sacks. He has seven seasons with at least 10 sacks already. Those numbers are insane, and his career is far from over.
This is obviously disappointing and a setback in his career. Miller will not let it beat him, though. Don't be surprised if Miller returns right back to his dominant ways when he gets back on the field. He's clearly determined.
