The Denver Broncos have a variety of options this offseason because of the amount of money they'll have available and the number of draft picks they posses. Due to having a boatload of cap space and draft picks, Jeff Legwold of ESPN believes that Denver will be the ‘most active' team in the offseason.

Just a month before the new league year begins, the Broncos are expected to have nearly $60 million in cap space, according to Spotrac. That gives Denver a healthy amount of money to address some of the needs on the roster.

Besides the cap space, the Broncos will have a total of 12 selections in the 2020 NFL Draft. In light of that, Denver could be active in the trade market during the upcoming draft.

However, as Legwold alluded to, the Kansas City Chiefs make things tricky. With the Chiefs winning Super Bowl 54, Elway could choose to maintain all 12 draft picks. Despite the draft essentially being a blind dart throw, Elway hopes to find cornerstones for the franchise this offseason.

Similarly to the other 31 teams in the NFL, the Broncos have quite a few glaring problems. Luckily for them, they'll have ample cap space and draft picks to fill the gaps on the roster.

The Broncos haven't made the playoffs since they won the Super Bowl in 2015. On a positive note, Denver already has their hopeful franchise quarterback in place with Drew Lock.

In Vic Fangio's second season as the head coach, he'll have plenty to work with to build the roster to his liking.
