Baker Mayfield has seen all types of coverages as the quarterback of the Cleveland Browns, but he isn't accustomed to seeing objects in the sky.

While Mayfield was enjoying his time in the offseason, he claims that he and his wife saw a UFO:

The former No. 1 overall pick claims that there was a bright ball of light that descended from the sky toward Lake Travis in Texas. Mayfield, who was born in Austin, Texas, likely spends some of his time in the offseason close to home instead of staying in Ohio.

In the comments of Baker Mayfield's post of this supposed UFO sighting, plenty of fans created memes, or there were people who questioned the idea of a UFO being seen. At the same time, there was a fan of the Browns who jokingly told the aliens to not take Mayfield, which prompted an emoji response from the 25-year-old quarterback:

Mayfield just finished his third season with the Browns, where he accomplished something that fans in Cleveland have seen just as many times as a UFO. For the first time since the 2002 season, Mayfield led the Browns to the playoffs, and he ultimately secured Cleveland's first playoff victory since 1994.

Also, Baker Mayfield and the Browns showed that there is plenty to look forward to on the horizon after going 11-5 in Kevin Stefanski's first year as head coach. Even though there wasn't anyone to prove his anecdote of seeing a UFO, Mayfield believes he saw an extra-terrestrial air vehicle, which will certainly cause Colin Cowherd to tweet something about the outgoing quarterback.
