The Cleveland Browns won their first NFL game of the season, but some fans were worried about the condition of young tight end David Njoku. Fortunately for the Dawg Pound, their tight end got cleared by the medical staff.

He was immediately checked for concussions after suffering a horrible fall early in the Browns' game against the New York Jets. After getting word that he was okay, Njoku immediately took to his phone and to share the news with Cleveland fans.

The fall he suffered after Nate Hairston took out his legs was a rough one that easily made the entire MetLife Stadium wince in pain. it could have easily gone in a grim direction if Njoku was in an even worse position.

However, Cleveland fans will be grateful that their young wideout won't have to miss a significant amount of time. While they did miss his presence on the field, the Browns were able to pull through with the victory thanks to their key players.

Both Baker Mayfield and Odell Beckham Jr. connected for an outstanding 89-yard reception that gave the Browns the touchdown they needed to comfortably end the game in their favor.

It was a powerful performance for the Browns as they steamrolled an admittedly undermanned Jets team. Their already troubled QB position was hit once more as Trevor Siemian injured his ankle in the first half.

There's no question that Njoku will work to make it back to the squad for Week 3. They have a tough opponent coming up in the LA Rams, and Mayfield will need all of the playmakers he can get to pull off an improbable upset.
