Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield has been banged up over the last few weeks. Dealing with a nagging shoulder ailment, a groin injury further complimented Mayfield's problems. However, Browns fans should like what they hear from head coach Kevin Stefanski, who provided a status update on Baker Mayfield.

That's big for Baker Mayfield, Kevin Stefanski and the Browns. Cleveland has managed to go 2-1 with a banged-up Mayfield, among other injuries, but they have fallen to last place in the tough AFC North.

A healthy Mayfield would go a long way towards getting the Browns in the driver's seat for the divisional title. Just listen to what Stefanski had to say about Mayfield.

Not only is Mayfield's shoulder feeling better, as evidenced by Stefanski noting how well he was throwing at practice, but the signal-caller is also healthy enough to show more mobility, which should only help him to avoid the pass rush moving forward. This could- and should- lead to some better performances from Mayfield and the Browns offense.

That's great news for the Browns ahead of a key divisional tilt against the Baltimore Ravens. It's unclear if Mayfield and Stefanski will be able to get this Browns team in the playoffs.

However, their chances just got a whole lot better after Kevin Stefanski's recent update on Baker Mayfield's health.
