The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' win over the New York Jets was overshadowed by the antics of Antonio Brown, who managed to steal the show with his bizarre sideline outburst that ultimately culminated in his release from the franchise. Many rumors and reports have surfaced regarding what Brown's outburst stemmed from, with some people indicating that AB felt he was too injured to carry on in the game.

Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians was asked for his stance on the incident, and his replies were pretty eye-opening. Via Rick Stroud, Arians claims that he doesn't know whether Brown was injured or not. Instead, Arians claims that he and Brown “had a conversation” and that the wide receiver then left the field afterward.

As for why Brown decided that leaving the field, and subsequently the stadium, was his best course of action, well, Arians, like many of us, has no idea.

Brown's decision clearly caught the Buccaneers off guard, with video of Mike Evans surfacing as the wide receiver tried to convince Brown to remain on the sideline. His efforts failed, however, and Evans walked away while his frustrated Buccaneers teammate removed his chest gear before tossing his undershirt and gloves into the stands.

Arians told Jenna Laine of ESPN that his conversation on the field with AB was the last time he'd spoken to the embattled wide receiver, who left the stadium and was released from the team in the aftermath of his episode. Arians himself told reporters that Brown had been released by the Buccaneers after the game.

After defending Brown on multiple occasions and eating the bad press that came with keeping the star wide receiver on the roster, the Antonio Brown experiment in Tampa Bay has come to a crashing conclusion.
