The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are preparing for their first year with Tom Brady as their starting quarterback. By the sounds of it, the accomplished quarterback is running the offense to near perfection. After a successful outing on Friday, Bruce Arians reacted to Brady's first scrimmage with the Buccaneers.

“I thought Tom was very, very efficient and did a good job of leadership,” coach Bruce Arians said, via Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times. “When you get the first long drive of the year, guys start dragging. He got their [butts] in the huddle and he got it rolling, you know? Keeping under the 25-second and 40-second clock pretty good. We weren’t close at all. But he was commanding that pretty good. Overall, I thought he had a hell of a day. Overall, I was pretty pleased.”

It was the first time that Brady stepped out of the tunnel at Raymond James Stadium on Friday morning as the team prepared for their first scrimmage. For Brady, it was the first chance to get his feet wet in a game-like setting in Arians' offense.

With no signs of rust, Brady led a 16-play, 98-yard drive in the offense's first possession of the scrimmage. He would proceed to lead the offense to two touchdowns and his lone passing touchdown was caught by Cameron Brate.

Ever since Brady chose to sign with the Buccaneers, some have questioned whether or not he would fit in Arians' offense. Even though it's only a training camp scrimmage, Brady appears to be flourishing thus far in his new system.
