If you don't live under a rock, you likely witnessed Antonio Brown stripping on the field during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 17 game.

At the end of the third quarter, he took off his pads and jersey on the sideline and paraded across the field while the game clock continued to run.

Since the game in early January, there have been conflicting stories as to what sparked the spontaneous self-ejection. Brown blamed head coach Bruce Arians, claiming that he forced him to play with an injury. Others say the Buccaneers receiver was upset that he wasn't getting the ball enough.

Over a month later, Mike Evans spoke with NBC Sports to share what really happened that day.

Evans confirmed that AB was upset that he didn't get the ball a lot that game, and Evans agreed with him there.

“What I remember is we were trying to get him to come back in the game…He was saying he wanted the rock, and rightfully so. We should have gotten him the rock. He’s an unbelievable player,” Evans said, all quotes courtesy of NBC Sports. He then explained that he and the rest of the Buccaneers team were trying to get him to come into the game.

“We were on offense. I’m like, ‘AB, big bro, come on, let’s go in the game. They’re calling for us.’”

Evans said that he went back in the game, while Brown sat out on the Buccaneers sideline. He then explained what he saw once he came off the field.

“I see BA (Arians) still trying to get him come in the game, and they had a falling out somehow. AB goes off, and he’s about to take his pads off.”

Evans said that he pleaded with Brown to stay and grabbed his pads, but to no avail. He then said that he was called to go back in the game, so Evans “just left him alone.”
