Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians stunningly announced his retirement from head coaching on Wednesday evening. While Arians won't be coaching anymore, he'll still be involved with the organization as a senior football consultant in the franchise's front office, with defensive coordinator Todd Bowles handling the coaching duties. Arians and Bowles were part of a press conference on Thursday that was meant to honor the former while introducing the latter as the new head coach. It's not the only recognition that Arians will receive from the organization. The Buccaneers are planning a special honor for their Super Bowl-winning head coach following his retirement, as reported by Greg Auman of The Athletic.

Per Auman, Buccaneers owner Joel Glazer announced that Arians will be inducted into the team's Ring of Honor. It's the ultimate tribute to the former head coach after his retirement.

Arians will walk away from head coaching with an 80-48-1 career record spanning stints with the Arizona Cardinals and Buccaneers. He compiled 31 wins in three seasons as the Buccaneers head coach, making the playoffs twice while winning the franchise's second Super Bowl title.

Now, Arians will be recognized as one of the greatest contributors to the Buccaneers' franchise. It's no wonder why.
