Throughout the season, the media has questioned the relationship between Bruce Arians and Tom Brady on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In response to the criticism they've gotten on their relationship, they scheduled a golf trip during the bye week in Week 13, only to have it nixed by the NFL, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Since early in the season, Arians hasn't shied away from calling out Brady when the veteran quarterback has a lackadaisical performance. While Brady seemed fine with Arians pointing out his mistakes, the media believes the relationship between Arians and Brady is frayed.

When Brady was with the New England Patriots, Bill Belichick would never criticize or call out Brady when he had an underwhelming outing. Instead, Belichick and the offensive coordinator of the Patriots would discover ways to make things easier for Brady.

In the first 12 games of the season, Brady has thrown for 3,300 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. It's only the third season in where he's thrown for 11 or more interceptions in the past eight years.

While Brady has struggled in some games, he's looked like the Brady of old in other games. There's no doubt that without a proper offseason, the Buccaneers have been unable to build the chemistry on offense that they desired.

However, Tampa Bay has a chance to finish the season strong in the final month, positioning themselves for a playoff run. Even though Arians and Brady attempted to improve their relationship by golfing together, they had to spend the bye week scheming up ways to improve the offense instead.
