Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady's legacy is going to be one of the best players to have ever in the NFL, but that isn't something that he is all that concerned with.
On an appearance with Howard Stern, Tom Brady said that he just isn't the type of person to care about that type of thing:
“I never cared about legacy,” Brady said. “I could give a s— about legacy…That's just not me. It's not my personality.”
“Why would I choose a different place?” he added. “It was time. I accomplished everything I could in two decades with an incredible organization, an incredible group of people.”
These are interesting comments from Tom Brady, not caring about his legacy, but it makes sense because he has always kind of done things his own way.
Some players want their legacy to be with one team their entire career, but not caring about his legacy made it easier for Brady to leave to the Buccaneers.
The big question now with Brady is how will he cement his legacy with the Buccaneers. Brady could go 0-16 with the Buccaneers and he would still be considered one of the best players in NFL history. With the Buccaneers, Brady has a chance to win another Super Bowl or two and that would only help his case as the best ever.
The Buccaneers, their fans, and Tom Brady all have high expectations for what the next couple of seasons can bring, now the question is can he live up to all of the expectations.
