Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady isn't done playing just yet after a very brief retirement in the offseason. Whenever he is done, though, he has a very lucrative gig lined up. It was announced Tuesday morning that Brady will be joining Fox Sports as the lead NFL analyst when he retires, and Andrew Marchand of the New York Post is now reporting that the contract is for 10 years and a whopping $375 million.

This $37.5 million annual salary is more than double that of CBS' Tony Romo and ESPN's Troy Aikman, who are at $18 million a year. This is by far the largest sportscasting contract in history. Fox will be paying Brady more than what Aikman and Joe Buck just got combined from ESPN ($33.5 million).

The future Hall of Famer will team up with Kevin Burkhardt and “also be a company ambassador who will help in sponsorships and promotional activities.”

When Brady actually joins Fox Sports is anybody's guess. While he momentarily retired this offseason, that retirement was over in a flash and it's obvious the Buccaneers star has plenty left in the tank even as he turns 45 in August. There were rumors about him joining the Miami Dolphins at some point and ultimately being a part of ownership, but that got snuffed out and now Brady has lined up this gig.

Making this all crazier is that this Fox Sports contract will pay Tom Brady more annually than he made in any NFL season prior to 2021, when he raked in nearly $40 million with the Buccaneers. After 2022, he will have earned over $330 million in NFL salary over 23 seasons with the Buccaneers and New England Patriots, which is less than this contract.

To have this kind of retirement plan waiting for you is incredible. Honestly, he should just retire right now and save himself the physical beating. But given he's still so good, of course he's going to keep playing.
