Washington Football Team defensive end Chase Young wanted to get his hands on the jersey of Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady after their recent Wild Card round encounter. After a week, the rookie finally got his wish granted but Brady didn't send his parting gift without imparting a playful jab on it, per Rick Stroud.

Tom Brady spent his four seasons in college with the Michigan Wolverines while Young played until his junior year with the Ohio State Buckeyes. Both universities have a longstanding rivalry with one another and have been recognized as two of the best football programs in the collegiate ranks.

The Buccaneers quarterback played for the Wolverines from 1996 to 1999 where he tallied career totals of 4,773 passing yards on 395 completions along with 30 touchdowns. Despite playing four years, Brady still flew under the radar and was drafted by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft.

On the other hand, Young finished a stellar collegiate career despite only playing for three seasons from 2017 to 2019. He produced totals of 68 total tackles, 30.5 sacks, and nine forced fumbles through 34 games played. Young eventually generated a lot of buzz heading to the 2020 NFL Draft where he was selected by the Washington Football Team with the second overall pick.

Despite falling short in his first season, Young has already made his mark in the league by becoming a team captain in Washington and earning a trip to the 2020 Pro Bowl. Meanwhile, Brady is still going strong in his 21st campaign in the league, leading the Buccaneers to the NFC divisional round against the New Orleans Saints.
