Wonder what Tom Brady and the Buccaneers are thinking? Throughout last season, many New England Patriots fans were hoping for tight end Rob Gronkowski to return to the team after his surprise retirement last March. That never came to fruition as the talented tight end is still retired.
However, with Tom Brady now with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, many fans are still holding onto hope that Gronk and Brady can join forces down in Florida. Regardless of what fans want, according to Gronkowski's brother Chris, the possibility of that return is unlikely.
“Rob's had a house in Tampa before so he is familiar with the territory but he left for a reason. It's an absolute grind. It doesn't matter how good he feels today, it's just one hit away from being, you know, right back to where you were before,” Chris said in an interview with TMZ Sports.

Buccaneers fans know that Gronkowski left the NFL after just nine seasons. In those nine seasons, the 6-foot-6, 268-pound tight end was named a First-Team All-Pro four times and recorded 7,861 yards and 79 touchdowns in the regular season.
“Now matter how much you train for it, no matter what you do to protect yourself, taking a blindside hit up the middle is going to take you out. He left the game at the top, at the highest level he could and I don't know, I cant say anything for him but I think he might be moving on. I don't know. I would be surprised.”
The former Patriot made his WWE debut on Friday at the recent SmackDown event and is scheduled to host WrestleMania later this year. No word on if any members of the Buccaneers will attend.
