The Milwaukee Bucks could soon look to trade center John Henson within the next few days if they hope to make a move for free agent point guard Derrick Rose, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes.

Rose is bound to command a decent chunk of money from the organization, meaning Henson's three years and $32 million remaining in the books could be on the move to make room for the 2011 NBA MVP.

Henson had his best free-throw shooting season since being drafted by the Bucks in 2012, managing a 69.2 percent clip in his 2016-17 campaign — a major stride from his 57.2 percent career average at the foul line.

He averaged 6.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game — serviceable numbers under a hybrid lineup by coach Jason Kidd — and one that can flourish in another roster if given ample playing time.

Henson has only garnered 83 starts through his 315 career games. If he indeed parts ways with the organization via trade, it would ensure Greg Monroe‘s stay as a potential starter and mentor figure to young Thon Maker.
