The Milwaukee Bucks signed shooting guard Kyle Korver after he was waived by the Phoenix Suns, and members of the Bucks organization can't stop smiling about the move.

Korver signed a one-year, $2.6 million contract with the Bucks. An executive in Milwaukee claims Korver is “the best shooter in the league still” and going to fit in perfectly with the Bucks.

“I told you we would keep working. And we aren’t done either. Probably no more big moves, but adding Korver will be huge for us,” the Bucks exec told Keith Smith of Real GM. “He’s the best shooter in the league, still. Even at his age. And he knows our coaches. This will work out great.”

Kyle Korver, 38, has career averages of 9.9 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists while shooting 44.3 percent from the field, 42.9 percent from beyond the arc and 87.8 percent from the free-throw line in 1,174 games with the Philadelphia 76ers, Utah Jazz, Chicago Bulls, Atlanta Hawks and Cleveland Cavaliers. The sharpshooter is going to stretch the floor very well for the Bucks.

Korver's presence on the floor will create more driving lanes for Giannis Antetokounmpo and Eric Bledsoe, two of the best slashers in the league. When Antetokounmpo and Bledsoe drive to the basket on Korver's side of the floor, they are going to have free lanes to the rim since defenders won't be able to leave Korver open on the wing.

Antetokounmpo and Bledsoe can get to the basket at will when they're being guarded one-on-one.

The Bucks had the best record in the NBA last season. They did lose combo guard and 2017 Rookie of the Year Malcolm Brogdon to the Indiana Pacers, but adding Korver was a great way to rebound.
