As the 2017-18 NBA season approaches, teams are filling out their rosters in anticipation for training camp. Over the last few years, one of the many traditions leading up to the new season has been NBA 2K releasing player ratings on social media.

With Kyrie Irving named NBA 2K18's cover athlete, Giannis Antetokounmpo has released his rating after winning the 2017 Most Improved Player award on Twitter:

Originally the 15th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, Antetokounmpo has established himself as one of the league's best players. In each of his four seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks, the one-time All-Star has improved his statistics across the board except for one category.

Heading into the new season, there is plenty of excitement for Antetokounmpo as he looks to improve his three-point shooting. If he is able to extend his range and propel the Bucks to one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference, he has an opportunity to add another award to his young career.

As for the Bucks, they have kept their core together for the upcoming season. While Jabari Parker recovers from a torn ACL in his left knee, it will be interesting to see if head coach Jason Kidd can take his team to the next step after losing in the first round of the playoffs to the Toronto Raptors.
