Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to raise the bar when it comes to MVP performances.

Giannis absolutely dominated the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday afternoon, posting his first career 40-point, 20-rebound game while leading the Bucks to a 93-85 victory:

Antetokounmpo also added six assists for the contest. According to ESPN Stats & Info, his 35 minutes played are the fewest of any player with a 40-20-5 line in NBA history:

This is yet another milestone in a season that has been full of them.

Antetokounmpo is widely expected to repeat as NBA MVP, making him the first back-to-back MVP since Stephen Curry in 2015 and 2016.

The “Greek Freak” entered Sunday's game averaging 29.7 points, 13.7 rebounds and 5.8 assists in under 31 minutes per night. He is also on pace for the highest player efficiency rating (PER) in league history, all while leading the Bucks to the best record in the NBA.

Of course, none of this will matter to Antetokounmpo if the Bucks cannot ride this momentum all the way to an NBA title.
