The Chicago Bulls go on the road to take on the Charlotte Hornets Monday night! Below we will continue our NBA odds series as we hand out a Bulls-Hornets prediction and pick. We will also let you know how t watch the game.

The Bulls are 16-21 this season, and they have officially gotten Zach Lavine and Nikola Vucevic back. Both of them are getting eased back into the lineup, though. Chicago and Charlotte just played on Friday night, and the Bulls won that game by 13. Chicago also beat Charlotte back in December by 11. In the two games combined, DeMar DeRozan and Coby White are averaging over 20 points per game. In the game on Friday, Vucevic and Lavine combined for 26 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists in their return to the court. Both Patrick Williams and Alex Caruso were absent for Friday's win, and they are still a little banged up heading into Monday.

The Hornets are one of the worst teams in the NBA at 8-25. With that, the Hornets have lost nine of their last 10 games. In the two games against Chicago this season, Miles Bridges and Terry Rozier are averaging over 20 points per game. Nick Richards is averaging 11.5 rebounds against the Bulls, as well. Gordon Hayward is close to being re-evaluated, but is still out a little bit longer. Of course, LaMelo Ball remains out, as well.

Why The Bulls Could Cover The Spread

The Bulls will cover this spread simply because the Hornets are not a good team. Chicago has been able to handle the Hornets this season, and that will not change in this one. The Bulls are averaging 12.0 more points, 7.0 more rebounds, 3.5 more assists, and they are shooting 5.7 percent better from the field and 13.3 percent better from three. The Bulls are just outplaying the Hornets in ever facet of the game. I do not expect anything to change in this one.

The Bulls two of their main guys back. There is not doubt the Bulls played better without Lavine, but now that he is back, the Bulls did not seem to miss a beat. Lavine is looking to swing the ball more and played less selfish in their win on Friday. Along with that, Vucevic is now back, and Drummond will return to his normal bench role. Drummond proved that he deserves 20+ minutes a game, but with Vucevic back, the Bulls will always have someone ready to protect the paint on the floor.

Why The Hornets Could Cover The Spread

Charlotte just needs to shoot the ball better. They have struggled to score against the Bulls in both the games. The Hornets will need Bridges and Rozier to really step up and have big games. If those two players can knock down their shots, especially from the perimeter, the Hornets will find a way to cover this spread.

The Hornets have actually done well on the defensive end of the court against Chicago. They have allowed just 107.5 points per game against the Bulls, and that is enough to help them win. The Bulls are the third-worst scoring team in the NBA, and it only gets worse with Lavine back. With Lavine, the Bull score just 106.3 points per game. That mark would be the worst in the NBA. If the Hornets can continue to play good defense, they will cover the spread.

Final Bulls-Hornets Prediction & Pick

This is going to be a closer game than people think. However, the Hornets are just not a good team. I am going to take Chicago in this game.

Final Bulls-Hornets Prediction & Pick: Bulls -6.5 (108), Under 216.5 (-110)
