For the record, Dennis Rodman was excellent at his craft as a basketball player. He knew his role for the team and outperformed his opponent mentally, defensively and on the boards earning the nickname the Worm.

He once secured 34 rebounds in a single game, but that's no surprise for him. Rodman would study videotape of players shots so he would know which direction the ball would bounce off the rim when they missed a shot.

He averaged a whopping 18.7 rebounds in a single season going down as one of the greatest rebounders in the history of the game. He also added two DPOY awards and five championships to his resume among other things.

If you look at him today without knowing his on-the-court history, you would think he is just a guy who lived a wild lifestyle who is a crazy man who befriended North Korea's Kim Jong Un.

His other antics on and off the court antics made headlines in his day that athletes wouldn't dare cross in this age of social media. He dated Madonna in her prime, head-butted a referee, joined professional wrestling matches and even almost committed suicide.

Make no mistake his 14-year career was full of happenings, and whether you think he's crazy or not there seems to be some semblance of a normal person inside of Rodman, even if it seems to only exist in one area.

Rodman was recently asked in an interview if he would ever get into broadcasting because he has some high level of basketball IQ inside of that head of his, but his answer came from a person who looks to avoid the spotlight, something he was never known to embrace.

No. Hell no. No, No, No. No. NoNoNoNoNoNoNo. No… I love the game. I don't love the game that f***ing much.

Fourteen times he said no,  and made mention of being normal, watching his grandkids grow up, and taking a break from the game.

The once coined bad boy sounds like his days of wild parties are behind him. Maybe.
