The Chicago Bulls are Detroit Pistons are both off to slow starts this season, and they are playing each other for the second time on Sunday in Chicago. The first game highlighted some positives for both teams as the Pistons won, but Zach LaVine did drop 51 points in the contest. The Bulls are currently 3-6 on the year and the Pistons are 2-8 and in last place in the Eastern Conference. Both teams need desperately need a win in this one to start building some momentum going forward.

This is a big division matchup for both teams, and it is also an intriguing matchup for Pistons coach Monty Williams and Bulls small forward Torrey Craig. Williams was the coach of the Phoenix Suns while Craig was on the team, and he had nothing but praise for the Bulls key contributor.

“He was a guy that came to us at the right time,” Monty Williams said of Torrey Craig before the Pistons took on the Bulls. “Many would say that we helped him, but we needed a guy like him who was hungry. He’s an everyday guy. He's one of the guys that convinced me about the offensive rebounding from the wing spot because he was such a good crasher. And as he got more consistent with shooting the ball and playing in point five, he just became a guy that I fell in love with.”

So far this season, Craig hasn't put up big numbers, but he is still finding his role with this Bulls team. Through nine games, he is averaging 4.7 PPG, 4.6 RPG and 1.4 APG. It will be interesting to see how he continues to play throughout the remainder of the season, and how he does against Williams and the Pistons.
