The Arizona Cardinals welcomed back QB Kyler Murray in Week 10, almost one year after Murray suffered a torn ACL. Murray led the team to a 25-23 victory over the Atlanta Falcons, and afterwards, seemed to breathe a sigh of relief.

Referring to all the fanfare upon his return, Murray told reporters after the Cardinals' win that it “would have been a sh—y night for us to come out and lose,” courtesy of FOX Sports' Eric Williams.

The return was almost ruined, until Murray took matters into his own hands. The dual-threat QB led an 11-play, 70-yard drive that culminated with a game-winning 23-yard Matt Prater field goal.

Murray put his athleticism on display, picking up a crucial first down on third-and-10 via a 13-yard scramble. One play later, Murray's arm did the work, hitting TE Trey McBride for a 33-yard completion and putting the Cardinals in the red zone. Three rushing plays later, Prater knocked home the game-winning kick.

In his first game since December 12, 2022, Murray ended his day 19-for-32 for 249 passing yards. He added 33 rushing yards on six carries, including a six-yard TD run. He also threw an interception.

Murray's return gave the Cardinals a much needed lift. The team entered Week 10 with a 1-8 records, riding a six-game losing streak. Arizona hadn't scored 25 or more points since Week 2's shocking 28-16 upset win over the Dallas Cowboys.

“I'm just happy for us,” Murray said during his post-game media availability. Having their franchise quarterback was one thing, but having him lead the team to victory made the occasion that much sweeter. Murray summed it up concisely himself.

“It feels good to win.”
