It sure sounds like being in a relationship with Travis Kelce has had a positive impact on Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.

During an interview with Heart, Swift gushed about her fiancé. She is “so excited” to start wedding planning with her fiancé.  “He's the most fun person,” Swift said of Kelce.

“Everyone in my life is like, ‘You've never been so yourself,' which is an interesting thing that you've been you your whole life, but we are different shades and ourselves at different volume levels,” Swift explained. “This person [Kelce] came into my life and everybody's like, ‘Yeah, you've never been so you.'

“And I think that comes through in music. People who fuel you, they fuel every part of you, and they make you walk taller, and they make you present [yourself] in a more vibrant way. And hopefully, that bleeds into the music, too,” she continued.

Swift is promoting her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, which was released on October 3, 2025. It is her first album since The Tortured Poets Department, which was released in April 2024.

Swift and Kelce recently got engaged, but they have been together for over two years. Kelce first called out Swift on his New Heights podcast. She would later be seen going to the Kansas City Chiefs' Week 3 game against the Chicago Bears during the 2023 NFL season.

She has attended several Chiefs games since then, including their last two Super Bowl appearances. In turn, Kelce supported her on her Eras Tour. He attended several concerts, including her June 23, 2024, concert at Wembley Stadium in London, England. At the show, Kelce joined her on stage and performed as a background dancer during “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”

Now, they are engaged, and they will surely be planning their wedding soon. Currently, Kelce is in the midst of his 13th season in the NFL. He rejoined the Chiefs after deliberating retirement during the 2025 offseason. So far, Kelce has 15 catches for 182 yards and a touchdown through four games.
