Real Madrid just knocked Paris Saint-Germain out of the Champions League, and Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid couldn't be any happier.
Embiid, who has been a long-time supporter of the La Liga club, took to Twitter to poke fun at UEFA and show his amazement for the incredible win. The Sixers star mocked the governing body of the tournament for believing they could punish the Spanish giants for their participation in the European Super League planning, only to see PSG lose.
This is incredible. I’m still shocked. What a win!! UEFA thought they could punish RM for the super league and they lost #HalaMadrid

As Joel Embiid said it, the win was absolutely incredible. Kylian Mbappe put the French club ahead in the first half with a 39th-minute screamer, but Real Madrid fought back in the second half to win the champions League Round of 16 clash.

Karim Benzema was the hero of the day for Real Madrid, with his second-half hat-trick making history and ensuring Los Blancos the win. At 34 years old, the Frenchman became the oldest player in Champions League history to score three goals in a game.
PSG won the first leg of the showdown 1-0, so they only need to draw to move on to the next round. After Mbappe struck in the opening half, it looked like it's all over for Real Madrid. Fortunately, the home team turned the tables as Benzema had a blistering 18 minutes to score his hat-trick.
Now, Embiid gets another chance to watch his favorite football team continue to compete in the Champions League and prove their haters wrong.
