The Los Angeles Chargers are officially set to usher in a new era at SoFi Stadium in the 2020 NFL season. It is safe to say that running back Austin Ekeler could not be more excited given all that has transpired this offseason.

Ekeler recently got to take a tour of the $5 billion, 70,000-seat venue and was impressed with all the bells and whistles, via the Chargers' official Twitter.

It comes as no surprise to see that the state-of-the-art Oculus scoreboard hovering below the translucent roof caught Ekeler's attention right away. Los Angeles Rams team owner Stan Kroenke certainly spared no expense for the future home of both his team and the Chargers.

Ekeler is poised for a big year with the departure of running back Melvin Gordon this offseason. The Chargers have since doubled down on him as their primary back after signing a four-year $24.5 million contract extension back in March.

Despite all the restrictions of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the construction of the stadium is expected to be complete well before the start of the 2020 campaign.
