In what turned out to be an instant classic, the Kansas City Chiefs found a way to defeat the Buffalo Bills in overtime. It was a back and forth battle throughout as Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen delivered strike after strike. Andy Reid reacts to the amazing duel that took place in Arrowhead Stadium.

According to Sports Illustrated, Andy Reid compared the showdown between Mahomes and Allen in the only way he could. The Chiefs head coach apparently sent a text describing the duel to Sports Illustrated. Take a look at it for yourself and see if you make sense of it.

“It was more classic than dueling banjos. Epic!!!” – Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.

Can't say I've ever heard that one before, but here we are. There are numerous different examples that could have been chosen, however, Andy Reid opted for dueling banjos. For a guy who compared playing in the Super Bowl to eating chocolate cake, this type of analogy isn't uncommon from Reid. Luckily the Chiefs won, otherwise it might not have been such a funny response.

Either way, Sunday night's battle was one for the ages. We witnessed quarterback play at the highest level. It's safe to say, the Bills will be back and the Chiefs aren't going anywhere anytime soon. Hopefully, the rest of the league figures it out, as these two teams are shaping up to run the AFC for years to come.

Regardless, the Chiefs advance to the next round where they're set to take on the Cincinnati Bengals. We should be in store for another amazing game that could come down to the wire.
