Week three of NFL football has a lot of great matchups, but the best has to be the Baltimore Ravens vs. the Kansas City Chiefs. Both squads field explosive offenses, so fireworks should be flying on Sunday morning. Unfortunately, the Chiefs fireworks may be dimmed a little. Running backs Damien Williams and LeSean McCoy both missed practice Wednesday, according to Pro Football Talk.

The Chiefs have never had a problem manufacturing offense under coach Andy Reid. When the Chiefs had lead running back Kareem Hunt suspended last season; his production was replaced without missing a beat. This may be a bit of a tougher task though, as the top two running backs are questionable. At this point, it seems that Williams is less likely to play than McCoy.

If one or both of the backs are to miss Sunday's game, Reid will have to find another runner to deploy against Baltimore. The most likely candidate for more carries is rookie Darwin Thompson. Thompson was selected in the sixth round last April out of Utah State. Carries will likely be split, as Thompson is more of a goal-line back. Darrel Williams is the last running back on the depth chart. The second Williams played a little bit in 2018 and was at least serviceable.

Even if Damien Williams and LeSean McCoy don't play, it won't make much of a difference. The Chiefs have always found a way to maximize their playmakers no matter what. Sunday morning will be an exciting game against Baltimore.
