Kansas City Chiefs MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes is beyond talented. He recently displayed that he's not just a fantastic football player, but he also has some talent on the basketball court as well. Soon after the video was released, Chiefs GM Brett Veach made it clear he wants Mahomes to stop partaking in any kind of off-the-field activities such as basketball:

Mahomes' baseball days have been well-documented, however, the fact that he is able to hold his own on the basketball court as well is impressive. The Chiefs have a ridiculous all-around athlete as their quarterback, but it's understandable why the video likely made Veach and head coach Andy Reid shudder a bit.

The last thing the Chiefs need is their star quarterback hurting himself off the field given how much he means to the team and how responsible he is for their success. They simply cannot risk it. Mahomes managed an incredible 5,097 yards and 50 passing touchdowns in his first full season as a starting quarterback.

The Chiefs have a franchise quarterback, no doubt, and it's increasingly clear that Patrick Mahomes has put the Chiefs in the conversation amongst other elite teams in the league. Kansas City ran into the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game, and although the Chiefs came up a bit short this season, it won't be long until they're back on their way to the big show.
