The NFL saved the best Divisional Round matchup for last this weekend, and it delivered in ways we couldn't imagine. The Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills locked horns in a tight battle dominated by their star quarterbacks: Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen, respectively. It was a game that fans didn't want to end.

Fortunately for the Chiefs, their superstar QB came through in the end, scoring a game-sealing touchdown in overtime to eliminate the Bills. After the game, Patrick Mahomes made sure to give his flowers to Josh Allen, running across the field to congratulate him. (via NFL)

The two quarterbacks dictated the Divisional Round matchup, and it was evident from the kick-off. Allen struck first, leading the Bills to a touchdown on the very first drive. Mahomes would counter right back with his own touchdown drive to put the Chiefs on the board. The real fight, though, came in the fourth quarter.

With the Chiefs up by 5, Allen came up with a monster drive that resulted in a touchdown and two-point conversion to put the Bills up by three with 2 minutes left. Mahomes would counter with a quick touchdown drive to put them up by 4 with a minute left. Allen would lead an improbable touchdown run that put the Bills up by three with only 13 seconds left.

However, the Chiefs weren't quite done yet. In those 13 seconds, Mahomes went on a 44-yard drive that led to a field goal to send it to overtime. From there, the Chiefs (who had possession due to the Bills losing the coin toss) scored the winning touchdown to send them to the AFC Championship Game.

This game was one of the best quarterback duels of all-time, and Mahomes himself knows it. With these two at the helm, the NFL is in good hands.
