Some players, including Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, have been asked about whether or not they'll kneel during the 2020 season. After being asked about it, Mahomes uttered that he is ‘tired' of answering the kneeling question, per Robert Rimpson of FOX4News.

Instead of being asked about whether or not he'll kneel, he wants more people asking why others are kneeling in the first place. At the same time, Mahomes would rather speak on what he is doing to help combat the racial injustices in America.

Of course, the topic of conversation in the past few months has been centered around police brutality and racial inequality. First, it was the tragic death of George Floyd in police custody back in May.

Then, recently, Jacob Blake — a black man in Kenosha, Wisconsin — was shot by police seven times in the back. Blake survived the shooting, but he is now paralyzed from the waist down.

Following the death of Floyd, Mahomes preached for changes to take place within the system to prevent more black people from being killed. The reigning Super Bowl MVP has also been working behind the scenes to work toward change when it comes to racial issues.

Since earlier this offseason, players and coaches have shared their desire to kneel during the national anthem in 2020. Adrian Peterson, the veteran running back for the Washington Football Team, was one of the first players to say he'll kneel.

With the Chiefs kicking off the 2020 season on September 10, it remains to be seen if Mahomes is one of the players kneeling. Regardless of whether or not he is kneeling, Mahomes is working hard to help the Black Lives Matter movement.
