The weather in Kansas City is already having a big impact on the Chiefs game between the Denver Broncos, with Sammy Watkins and LeSean McCoy arriving late to the stadium. As of 10:03 local time, Watkins and McCoy were still not at the stadium according to Adam Teicher of ESPN.

Watkins and McCoy hopefully will still make it to Arrowhead Stadium before the start of the game, but this will have a big impact on their time to get warmed up (UPDATE: all Chiefs players have now arrived before kickoff, per Adam Schefter of ESPN).

According to Jeff Kerr of CBS Sports, Kansas City is already in a winter storm warning with five to seven inches of snow expected to fall. There is also expected to be some ice accumulation. At kickoff it's expected to be 26 degrees with areas of fog.

The weather should be an interesting element for two offenses who have been performing well as of late. The Chiefs offense has been through the air mostly this year, but this is a game they are probably going to need to establish the run. The Chiefs are only averaging 93 yards per game on the ground which is 27th in the NFL. The Broncos run defense hasn't been great giving up 115.2 yards per game which is 21st in football. Even with the struggles for the Chiefs running, this is a game where they could have success establishing it on the ground.

The Broncos are a little better running the ball, averaging 108.9 yards per game and that is going to need to be better with rookie quarterback Drew Lock making the start.

The team that handles the conditions better should have the upper hand in this game.
