The Kansas City Chiefs pulled off an incredible overtime win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday Night Football. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was incredible in the victory, throwing for over 400 yards and three touchdowns against just one interception. Mahomes' performance impressed his teammate Tyrann Mathieu, who could only muster one word in his description of his teammate in a Twitter post.

Chiefs defensive back Tyrann Mathieu is absolutely right about Patrick Mahomes. Not only did Mahomes, who threw a bad third quarter interception that led to easy points for the Chargers, shake off the early turnover, but he was at his absolute best when Kansas City needed him most.

Mahomes was nearly perfect, with as many incompletions as touchdowns, down the stretch for the Chiefs against the Chargers. Mathieu couldn't have come up with a better word to describe his quarterback's performance.

Not only that, but Mahomes and the Chiefs offense seem to have found their footing after a bit of a tough stretch, during which Mathieu and the defense picked up the slack. Mahomes has thrown for 250-plus yards and at least two touchdowns in each of the last two games, with the Chiefs putting up 30-plus points in both.

With Patrick Mahomes putting up clutch performances and Tyrann Mathieu leading a suddenly scary defense, the Chiefs look like a will-oiled machine in the NFL right now.
