The Kansas City Chiefs are now amping up their preparation for the Super Bowl, but that doesn't mean that players won't be allowed to feel excited about the game anymore. Tyreek Hill, in particular, is looking forward to potentially trading jerseys with San Fransico 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman once the game is done and dealt with.

It may be strange for fans to see one of the best wideouts of the Chiefs look forward to trading jerseys with one of the best cornerbacks to play in the NFL, but that just shows the amount of respect Hill has for Sherman's game.

Hill said, via Pro Football Talk's Michael David Smith:

“Richard Sherman, I respect your game, man. Thank you for locking down all the receivers you have faced. You are truly a GOAT, man, and I really hope we can jersey swap after the game,” Hill said. “I can’t wait for the matchup.”

This is a great gesture that Hill is making towards Sherman. After all of the flak the corner received throughout the past season, it's great that a talented player like Hill is still looking at Sherman as one of the greatest corners in the league today.

In 12 games played for the Chiefs, Hill recorded 58 receptions for 860 yards and seven touchdowns in 2019. Expect the 49ers to play Sherman on Hill for much of the Super Bowl, even if they play more of a zone-heavy scheme.

Sherman was named to the second-team All-Pro in 2019. In 15 games, he tallied three interceptions and allowed a 64.1 passer rating in coverage, per Pro Football Reference.
