Ciryl Gane has a lot of things to worry about in the coming future. The UFC heavyweight has a title fight coming up in January and Jon Jones looms over the heavyweight division.

Jon Jones has been talking about moving up to heavyweight for years. It appears as though the former UFC champion is serious about it as he has been bulking up.

Ciryl Gane has to worry about Francis Ngannou first but a fight against Jon Jones is not out of the question. The UFC would have to offer a nice payday though.

“He wants to go to this division, he wants to prove he can do it and he did a lot for that,” Gane told BT Sport. “Probably a fight against him would be really great for me because a lot of people compare the style, we’re well-rounded, good fight I.Q. Maybe it’s gonna be a great matchup, I think so, and probably it’s gonna be great for my pocket (laughs).”

The fight would be a fun one as both men can match each other physically. The question would be how Jon Jones would look at the UFC's 265-pound division.

Ciryl Gane has a great muay-Thai game that he has been using to dominate in the UFC heavyweight division. He also has a solid ground game that he can fall back on.

Jon Jones will need to bring size and speed to the matchup in order to make things interesting and keep the fight competitive. It will be interesting to see if the UFC has any interest in the fight.
