Los Angeles Clippers superstar Kawhi Leonard was one of the select few who were given an invitation to attend NBA legend Kobe Bryant's secret camp last month, and he gave some details of the extent of his participation during his media day interview, per Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints:

“I didn't play, I just went up there and conversated with him. I wasn't really able to see them play against each other. He did a great job getting a lot of elite trainers and elite players.”

Leonard, who's coming off a championship victory as a member of the Toronto Raptors, decided to leave the franchise after just one season in order to return to his hometown of Los Angeles. It is considered one of the biggest offseason moves in recent memory, as he chose to play with the Clippers instead of joining the Los Angeles Lakers, who already had LeBron James and Anthony Davis in place.

But Kawhi didn't come to the Clippers alone, as he will be playing alongside Paul George, who's fresh from an MVP-caliber season as a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Leonard is determined to lead the Clippers to their first-ever championship, and joining Bryant's invite-only camp is a testament to how serious he is in doing just that. Kobe is one of the greatest players in NBA history, and winning titles was his primary driving force.

It will be interesting to see how Leonard will use the knowledge he got from The Black Mamba, but it is clear that he has already developed that killer instinct. If the reigning Finals MVP can take his game to yet another level, there is absolutely no doubt that the Clippers will have a legitimate shot of winning it all this season.
