Following his team's surprising win against the defending champions Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers big man Motrezl Harrell had nothing but good things to say about his teammates.

According to the 25-year-old, the Clippers' secret to success lies on each individual player's selflessness and their collective desire to win at all costs.

On Monday night's 121-116 overtime win against the Warriors, it was the combination of defending Sixth Man of the Year winner Lou Williams and Harrell himself who led their team to victory. Williams and Harrell — who both came off the bench — combined for 48 points to help the Clippers overcome the onslaught of the Stephen Curry-less Warriors.

As Harrell explains, the beauty of the Clippers right now is that there is more emphasis on the team as opposed to just one or two individual superstars. The fact that there are a number of guys on the team that can step up in a big way on any given night also adds an unpredictability to the side that is at times able to take their opponents by surprise. This is exactly what happened on Monday night against the Dubs.

For his part, Harrell is currently having a breakout campaign in his fourth year in the league. Despite coming off the bench, the 6-foot-8 big man is averaging 14.5 points on 69.2 percent shooting (wow!), 6.4 rebounds, 0.9 steals, and 1.9 blocks in 23.3 minutes per contest. Impressively, these are all career-best numbers for the former 32nd overall pick.

With Monday night's remarkable win, the Clippers are now 8-5 and are currently sitting at the fourth spot of the Western Conference.
