LOS ANGELES – Patrick Beverley has had a few months to get to know his new LA Clippers teammate Kawhi Leonard. As most fans know by now, Beverley is a very vocal and emotional player who's been the Clippers leader in that aspect. Leonard on the other hand, has been known as a relatively quiet guy who keeps to himself, although he proclaimed himself ‘a fun guy.'

Beverley says that Leonard is actually not a quiet guy.

“Nah, he’s not quiet,” admitted Beverley. “He’s a really dope dude man. I thought he was quiet coming in but he’s really not. Again, another person when he speaks, everyone listens, and we’re just trying to put it all together, trying to have fun putting it all together and trying to get better while putting it all together also.”

Beverley adds that he was caught off guard by Leonard because his only time with the two-time NBA Finals MVP was going up against him and his San Antonio Spurs.

“I always played against him when he played with the Spurs, but he’s a cool dude, man,” added Beverley. “He’s a cool dude.”

Leonard and Beverley are both expected to play in the Clippers' preseason game against the Dallas Mavericks in Vancouver, Canada on Thursday night. It'll be the final game the Clippers will play together prior to their opening night matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers.
