The Los Angeles Clippers will get guard Patrick Beverley back on Monday when they take on the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Beverley missed the Clippers' previous two games with a sore left calf. LA went 1-1 without Beverley, losing to the New Orleans Pelicans and defeating the Atlanta Hawks.

The Clippers enter Monday with a record of 8-5, good for sixth place in the Western Conference standings.

Beverley is averaging 7.0 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game on the season. He's shooting 35.3 percent from the field, just 15.2 percent from beyond the arc and 58.8 percent from the free-throw line.

Once two-time Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard comes back to the lineup, the Clippers are going to have three of the best defenders in the NBA in the starting lineup. Leonard, Beverley and Paul George are all elite defenders. George has made his way back from two offseason shoulder surgeries. The six-time All-Star is putting up 35.0 points per game in his first two games with the Clippers.

Load management is a popular term in Los Angeles right now. The Clippers are going to be smart with all of their players. If someone is hurt or banged up, they will sit. LA wants its players to be as fresh as possible for the playoffs since the team has championship aspirations.
