The NBA Draft is only a few weeks away, and it is shaping up to be one of the most interesting in years. There is expected to be a lot of teams trying to move in this draft, including the Los Angeles Clippers who could be looking to get Luka Doncic. According to Shams Charania who was appearing on Yahoo Sports NBA Podcast with Chris Mannix:

“I think there's a lot of fluidity to this draft,” Charania said. “You could see a lot of pick movement. The Clippers have looked to trade up. I think a guy that they have really looked at heavily is Luka Doncic of Real Madrid. I think it'll be a lot of movement in this draft, potentially.”

After DeAndre Ayton, there are a lot of good players, but it seems different teams have different ideas who are in the next group of players in the draft.

Early on there were rumors that the Suns could decide between Ayton and Doncic, but now there is a chance that the European star could be drafted somewhere around the fifth pick.

The Clippers own the 12th and 13th pick in the draft, so they have plenty of ammunition to move up if they can find a trade partner that is looking to trade down.

After trading Chris Paul before last season, the Clippers are looking for their point guard of the future and Doncic could be that guy.

If DeAndre Jordan gets moved this offseason, he could also be a perfect face to build the franchise around.
