Los Angeles Clippers combo guard Lou Williams is reportedly readily available in trade talks.

Bleacher Report's Jake Fischer reports the Clippers have made no bones about their willingness to trade Williams. Fischer also says there are some within the organization equally content with trading Patrick Beverley.

It is unknown whether either guard could be used to obtain someone like Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry, who could be on the move this season. Up until this point, LA has reportedly been looking for a “mid-tier guard” as opposed to a bigger name than Lowry.

At any rate, the Clippers appear intent on adding at the point guard position.

LA pursued Derrick Rose before he was acquired by the New York Knicks, and some executives told Fischer the Clippers might be the best fit for Lowry. It is all but certain Williams would be part of any package.

The three-time Sixth Man of the Year's role has been minimized given the presence of Luke Kennard. Williams is playing just over 20 minutes per contest, averaging 10.3 points and shooting under 40 percent from the floor.

Still, Williams could have value to a number of teams. He remains a capable playmaker who excels in pick-and-roll. Williams is also shooting over 38 percent from beyond the arc and is on an expiring contract.

Beverley is under contract through next season, but the apparent willingness to move either or both players suggests the Clippers are on the hunt for more offensive playmaking and possibly more scoring at the point guard position.
