After rumors of Cloud9 League of Legends mid laner Ibrahim “Fudge” Allahi role swapping back to top lane, the C9 squad is left without a mid. Nikolaj “Jensen” Jensen is set to fill this role, according to a report by blix.gg.

Jensen, one of the best mid laners to ever grace the NALCS (now simply LCS), is set to come back to the Rift under the banner of Cloud9 once again. The Dane first wore the Cloud9 mantle in 2015, and had a three year long stay in the org. He moved on to play for Team Liquid up until 2021, and was left without a team afterwards. Throughout his career in the LCS, Jensen qualified to every single World Championship.

Even Cloud9's jungler Robert “Blaber” Huang has teased towards this highly likely signing and posted this photograph with no context:

After the departure of supports Kim “Winsome” Dong-keon and Jonah “Isles” Rosario, along with top laner Park “Summit” Woo-tae, the C9 squad now looks like this:

  • Top lane: Ibrahim “Fudge” Allami
  • Jungle: Robert “Blaber” Huang
  • Mid lane: Nikolaj “Jensen” Jensen
  • Bot lane: Kim “Berserker” Min-cheol
  • Support: Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen

Fans will once again (hopefully) be able to see Jensen wearing Cloud9's colors when the LCS Summer 2022 Split begins on June 18.
