The Texas Longhorns were unable to defeat the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday, giving them their second consecutive loss of the season.

Following the Longhorns' devastating loss in the fourth overtime, angry Texas fans instantly became a meme on social media.

Not long after the picture made its rounds on Twitter, The Athletic's Stewart Mandel used the meme to describe what this year has been like.

At the same time, Amie Just of NOLA News used the picture to chronicle how fans of Texas feel when they hear they might be back in 2020.

The Longhorns would lose in heartbreaking fashion on Saturday after forcing overtime despite facing a double-digit deficit in the game. After a touchdown pass from Spencer Rattler, Sam Ehlinger would toss a game-ending interception that would stun the crowd sporting orange.

It's safe to say that the fan wasn't saying the Longhorns are the No. 1 team in the nation after Texas' defeat to their Big 12 adversaries.
