Heading into the season finale matchup against the Tennessee Titans, the Indianapolis Colts have the opportunity in front of them to secure one of the two Wild Card spots in the AFC playoff picture.

It is a matchup that Colts star quarterback Andrew Luck has had much success with throughout his career, winning his first 10 games against the Titans. Despite that, Luck has decided to downplay the undefeated mark that he has against his AFC South division rivals, according to Joel A. Erickson of The Indy Star.

“It doesn’t matter,” Luck said. “We talk about going 1-0 this week, and that the cycle starts over. What happened previously, what happened in previous years, it doesn’t matter. What happened last weekend does not matter.”

This may not be a significant deal for Luck, but it should help him get a bit of a mental edge given that he has been able to have a tremendous amount of success against the Titans. He simply hasn't shuttered once in the matchup with him having his way each time out.

If there is anything that Luck can take away from this, it is that he had a strong performance in their meeting earlier this season facing Tennessee as he pushed his team to a blowout 38-10 win. It saw him put together one of his best performances of the year by completing 23-of-29 passes for 297 yards with three touchdowns and he held a season-high 143.8 passer rating.

Beyond that, the stage is set for Luck to lead the Colts to the playoffs in what has been a remarkable comeback campaign for him that can be capped off by a postseason berth in the season finale.
