The Indianapolis Colts are coming off another disappointing season in which the team finished with an ugly 4-12 record and faced a lot of uncertainty regarding the long-term health of star quarterback Andrew Luck.

Fortunately, after a long rehab process following surgery on his right shoulder, Luck seems to be on the right path to be ready for the 2018 NFL season. There's been a lot of doubts about Luck's health and ability to bounce back from this injury, but he's as confident as ever considering the fact he's had no pain in his shoulder and is dedicated to the goal of improving moving forward, via Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star.

A renewed conviction in his words comes from the long, hard road since then. “I’ve put a lot of work in,” Luck says of his rehab. “And it’s paying off. My goal is not to get to training camp and plateau. It’s to keep getting better and better.”

As for the most significant detail – pain. Any of that creeping in after a recent throwing session?

“No, no, no, not at all,” Luck said.

It's no secret the Colts' success hinges on Luck's health. The team instantly became a force in the AFC once again when they drafted Luck making three straight playoff appearances with identical 11-5 records. Then things got rocky in Indianapolis with Luck playing in only seven games in 2015 and 15 games the following year resulting in an 8-7 record with him under center.

After missing the entire 2017 campaign, Luck will look to bounce back with a vengeance as he tries to make the Colts relevant once again in 2018.
