The Indianapolis Colts named Jeff Saturday as their interim head coach after firing Frank Reich on Monday. Although some people may argue that hiring Saturday was a good move for the Colts, NFL Twitter vehemently disagrees with that notion for the most part. Here is a look at some of the most notable criticism thrown Indianapolis' way following the Saturday interim decision.

Field Yates took a professional approach to the situation.

“As best as I can tell, Jeff Saturday becomes the first person in NFL history to be named a head coach without any coaching experience at either the NFL or college level. He now takes over in Indy,” Yates wrote on Twitter.

“Only the Colts would make this choice instead of elevating one of two former head coaches already on staff (John Fox, Gus Bradley),” Ben Volin shared.

Here are some less professional reactions to Jeff Saturday's hiring.

“what the f*ck are the colts doing,” another Twitter user wrote.

And finally, Brooke Pryor stated that the Colts might as well complete the team's 2000's nostalgia following the Jeff Saturday news.

“Hope Jim Irsay rounds out the coaching staff with Pat McAfee and Peyton Manning next.”

Jeff Saturday was an excellent NFL lineman who spent the majority of his career in Indianapolis. However, NFL Twitter has questions given the fact that Saturday has no NFL coaching experience. His coaching experience is limited to Hebron Christian Academy football in Georgia.

It will be intriguing to see how Jeff Saturday fares with the Colts.
