There seems to be a flirtatious dialogue constantly ongoing between TY Hilton and the Indianapolis Colts. Hilton has spent his entire 9-year career with the Colts and now finds himself in free agency. With the first receiver wave having come and gone this offseason, Hilton's name is still out there. With whispers of him returning to Indianapolis gaining steam, Hilton tweeted this out:

A constant in any offseason or during any trade deadline is the cryptic tweets that offer no explanation but only further speculation and stir the pot by players who are available or might be made available. TY knows what he's doing here. This tweet comes after last weeks back and forth between Hilton and former Colts teammate Kenny Moore:

The Colts don't have Hilton back though, yet. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network said on Monday when appearing on βThe Pat McAfee Show,β that there are ongoing talks between the Colts and Hilton and that he wouldn't rule out a return.
"The #Colts are still in talks with TY Hilton. I would definitely not rule out him being back..
I think a couple of the teams who didn't get receivers are interested in still talking to him"@RapSheet on @TYHilton13 #PatMcAfeeShowLIVE pic.twitter.com/gRQxklLD3a

Hilton will have and does have a solid market. He isn't going to draw the money that someone like Chris Godwin did, when he was slapped with the franchise tag but Hilton knows that. Rapoport noted that Hilton is willing to be patient throughout the process as it plays out.
TY returned to his usual reliable self in 2020 with the Colts after dealing with nagging injuries in 2019. Last year he hauled in 56 receptions for 762 yards and 5 touchdowns while starting and playing in 15 games. A durable receiver, Hilton has played in 15 or more games in every season but two throughout his career and in one of those years (2018) he still played in 14.
