The Indianapolis Colts are currently beating up on the Houston Texans in their AFC Wild Card Round playoff matchup on Saturday, and Colts running back Marlon Mack is having himself a day.

Like here, for example, when he makes the Texans defense look silly:

Mack was looking like Marshall Faulk with those cuts.

The second-year pro had a very impressive season in 2018, rushing for 908 yards and nine touchdowns in 12 games while averaging 4.7 yards per carry. In addition, he hauled in 17 receptions for 103 yards and a score.

Mack, who played his collegiate football at the University of South Florida, was originally selected by the Colts in the fourth round (143rd pick overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft.

He had a quiet rookie campaign, finishing with 358 yards and three scores, averaging just 3.8 yards per attempt, but he has certainly proven his worth this season.

With Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell set to hit free agency this offseason, there has been some speculation that Indianapolis could pursue Bell, but why bother paying all of that money for Bell when you already seem to have a really good halfback on the roster?

The Colts won 10 games on the year, rebounding to become only the third team since the AFL/NFL merger to make the playoffs after starting the season 1-5.

Indianapolis won nine of its last 10 contests to end the regular season, with its only slip-up coming in the form of a strange 6-0 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

However, the Colts now seem to be heating up at the right time.
