The Dallas Cowboys had a tough 2020 season as they went 6-10 and finished third in the NFC East. Star quarterback Dak Prescott suffered a season ending injury in week 5, derailing the entire season. Even in a tough season, it was shown that the Cowboys have some young talent on the team.

In the offseason, the Cowboys added some key players in the draft. In the first round they took the highly talented linebacker Micah Parsons. Parsons flies around on defense and seems to always make a play on the ball. Players like that don't come around often. They continued to build up the defense in the draft, as the first six selections by the Cowboys were defensive players.

Given the young talent on the roster, we're going to look at three guys who are seemingly ready to breakout in the 2021 NFL season.

3. Offensive lineman Tyler Biadasz

Tyler Biadasz was solidifying himself as the starting center for the Cowboys until he got hurt. Biadasz was a rookie in 2020, but showed his potential to be a franchise lineman for the team. His play may have earned him the starting job for this season and he will only improve the more time he gets.

Biadasz is a very talented player and showed that he has Pro Bowl potential with his great maturity for a rookie lineman. Biadasz projects to improve and breakout in 2021.

2. Cornerback Trevon Diggs

Trevon Diggs had an up and down rookie season but has the talent to be a great cornerback. He improved throughout the season and will continue to develop into the cornerback that he was always expected to be.

Diggs' confidence also seemed to increase throughout the season; becoming a more assertive player with every snap played.

The NFC East is now filled with great receivers and Diggs will be key in containing them. Look for Diggs to take a big jump and become a shutdown corner for the Cowboys this season.

1. Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb

CeeDee Lamb had a great rookie season and could become a top receiver in the league. Lamb quickly showed he was one of the best receivers in his draft class, as he outshined Henry Ruggs III and Jerry Jeudy. Only one rookie receiver had a better season than Lamb and that was Vikings star Justin Jefferson.

Lamb showed many flashes of what type of player he could be even when Prescott was out. With so much talent around Lamb on offense it will be hard for them to double him. This is good news for Lamb as he will be able to dominate in single coverage. Lamb is ready to take a huge jump and become a Pro Bowl level receiver.

Although the 2020 season didn't go as planned the Cowboys are in a position for success. The draft and the talent on the roster should be enough for the Cowboys to compete for a division title and playoff berth. The offense should be near the top of the league as they have so many great players on that side of the ball. On the other side, the defense should be much improved and good enough to win them games.

The Cowboys should be good enough to compete this season and are ready for any team in the way.
