On Sunday afternoon, the Dallas Cowboys improved to 6-3 on the 2023 season with a dominating 49-17 home win over the New York Giants. The win allowed Dallas to bounce back from their crushing road loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last week, as the Giants looked powerless to do anything against the Cowboys neither offensively nor defensively.

After the game, FS1 sports media personality and noted Cowboys fan Skip Bayless took to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, to react to the victory and reveal why he isn't particularly satisfied by the win.

“Look, was I happy with 49-10 [actually 49-17]? Sure, I was happy with 49-10,” said Bayless. “But it was the Giants. It was Tommy Devito playing smaller than Danny Devito. Was I satisfied?… No, I was not satisfied… I need to see [Dak Prescott] play to this level against Philadelphia December 10, and then at Buffalo, and then at Miami, and then at Washington. I need to see [the Cowboys] play at the level they played today in a game that really matters.”

It's true that the current iteration of the Giants is not exactly a great measuring stick for the Cowboys' success. The Giants currently sit at 2-8 and are dealing with a slew of injuries in virtually every area of the game. However, there is something to be said about taking care of business against weak competition, and the Cowboys certainly did that on Sunday.

Up next for the Cowboys is a road game against the Carolina Panthers on November 19 at 1:00 PM ET.
